Mrs. Hicks was born in Marshall April 20th 1846, thus lacking less than one month of rounding out her four-score years. In 1867 she was united in marriage to Richard Hicks. Three children were born to themm : Mrs. Frank Walker, with whom Mrs. Hicks lived since the death of her husband; Mrs. Elmer Young, both of Lee township, and Roy Hicks, of Battle Creek. She is also survived by two brothers and three sisters; Ed. Kipp of Marshall; Frank Kipp of Gull Lake; Mrs. J.R. Gibson, of Lansing; Mrs. Harvey Halliday, of Ceresco, and Mrs. Francis Wefmere, of Marshall. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Marshall Chapel, conducted by Rev. Frank Fulkerson, of Olivet.
