Jessie (Matlock) Adreon and her sister Gertrude (Matlock) Milton lived "next door" to each other with their families when the 1920 census was taken. The census is listed as the Rutledge Township, DeWitt County, Illinois, numbers 74 and 75. Both were just down the road from Dad, George P. Matlock and Mother, Ella, who are listed at number 80, and brother and sister-in-law Bert and Beulah Matlock, along with their large brood, who are all entered as home number 81! Hazel (Matlock) and her Hendren brood were listed as number 62. FYI, Kent Polen and his family lived nearby, at number 106.
