Wednesday, September 8th, 2004 - ROSS, ELLEN (NEE MCGARRIL) - Ellen Ross (nee McGarril), died Tuesday, September 7, 2004, peacefully at home. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Gabriel Ross and loving mother of Bernadette Ross Fletcher and Kathleen Fatato. Caring mother-in-law to Vincent Fatato and Michael Fletcher. Cherished grandmother of Liam Fletcher, Beth, Vincent and Timothy Fatato. Much loved sister to Emily Morrison, Ena McNamara, and the late Kathleen Huston, Mary Walters, Maude Myers, Mathew and Fred McGarril. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Her family meant everything to her. Born and raised in Kearny, NJ, she lived in Edison, NJ before moving to Nyack 14 years ago. She was a member of Orangetown Senior Citizens. Her ongoing strength and courage inspired all who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Daniel DeFilippo RSD Foundation at 386 Shady Brook Drive, Langhorne, PA 10947. Visiting is scheduled for today (Wednesday ) from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc., in Nyack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at 11AM at St. Ann?s RC Church in Nyack. Burial will be private.
