BIOGRAPHY Elsa was born on 17 March 1891 in Breslau, the daughter of Maximilian von Stegmann und Stein and Anna von Prittwitz und Gaffron.

On 29 November 1909 in Breslau Elsa married Gerhard von Zitzewitz, the son of Günther von Zitzewitz and Marie von der Marwitz.

On 17 October 1945 in Wertheim am Main Elsa died. Gerhard died on 5 July 1952 in Rüdenhausen.
