Elsie Doris Pelteret

Elsie Doris Nursey survived the sinking of the Galway Castle in 1918, rescued by Pvt. Ted Cooke of the South African Scottish. [see THE FAMILY BOSANQUET of SOUTH AFRICA elsewhere on this site for a similar story]

Leslie Roger Pelteret and Elsie Doris Nursey were divorced in 1955; the wife being awarded £10 pm. for life or until remarried, and £10 pm for each daughter until they reached 18 years.
