Eltje VanderSchaaf

Eltje Borgman was born inn Enrum, The Netherlands, on November 28, 1859, and in 1882 came to this country with her mother. She was married to George Vander Schaaf in 1883, and to this union seven children were born. Three preceded her in death in infancy. Those who mourn her passing are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Martin (Mary) Schaver, Garden Plain, Mrs. John (Grace) Bielema, Jr., Ustick, Anna at home, and one son, Henry of Fulton, fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. There are also three brothers, Edward Borgman, George Borgman, and Andrew Borgman, and one sister, Mrs. Jacob Eissens, all of Fulton.

HOLD LAST RITES FOR MRS. VANDER SCHAAF

Mrs. George Vander Schaaf passed away at her home at 7:10 o'clock last Friday morning, after a lingering illness of four years duration. For the past three months her condition was critical. Funeral services were held at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the family home on Fifteenth Avenue, and two o'clock in the First Reformed church, with the Rev. W. H. Vandermeer officiating. Mrs. Alred Kettler and Mrs. Mitchell Shipma sang "No Disappointment In Heaven" and six grandsons served as pallbearers. They were Clarence Schaver, George Schaver Marion Schaver, Albert Schaver, J.
