Emery K. Jantzi

Emery was born in O’Neill, Nebraska, June 19, 1921 to Christian and Anna Kennel Jantzi. At age four his family moved to Canada. He attended school in St. Petersburg, Ontario. He was employed by Agway Petroleum in Lowville, New York. After retirement he delivered flowers for Guignard’s Flowers. He enjoyed reading his bible and watching golf on TV.

LOWVILLE — Emery K. Jantzi, 90, Hopkins Rd. Liverpool, formerly of Lowville, died Tuesday morning at Iroquois Nursing Home, Jamesville, where he had been a patient for a short time.

He was born in O'Neill, Nebraska, June 19, 1921 to Christian and Anna Kennel Jantzi. At age four his family moved to Canada. He attended school in St. Petersburg, Ontario. He married Doris Church August 27, 1966 at the First Mennonite Church of New Bremen with Rev. Donald Jantzi officiating.

He was employed by Agway Petroleum in Lowville. After retirement he delivered flowers for Guignard's Flowers. He enjoyed reading his bible and watching golf on TV.

He is survived by his wide Doris of Liverpool, a daughter, Patricia of Liverpool and a brother Marvin of Medina, NY. He also has several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is predeceased by three siblings, Daniel and Vernon Jantzi and Marie Nafziger.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday November 12, at the Adirondack Funeral Home, Croghan with the Rev. Evan Zehr officiating. Burial will follow in the Croghan Mennonite Cemetery.
