Emma was not the daughter of William.

" A family reunion to honor the golden wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs J E Idéen was held at their home near Raymond, Sunday July 24. Mr and Mrs Idéen were married April 2 1888 in Lincolnd but the family reunion was postponed until Sunday because several of the children were unable to be present at the earlier date. Mr and Mrs Idéen have lived in Nebraska 50 years.

Following a family dinner at noon they were at home to relatives.A buffet supper was served for 70 guests.

Their eleven children of whom ten were present are: Albin, Arvid, and Ray Idéen Casper, Wyoming. Elmer Idéen, Salem in Oregon, Mrs George Nelson, Swedeburg, Mrs Merle Jones, Allen, Henry and Earl Idéen, Raymond, Lee Idéen, Lincoln, Mrs Joseph Yanko, Weston, Ohio, Miss Fraces Idéen, San Fransisco.

Lincoln guests at the anniversary were Dr and Mrs Alexis and family; Vern Odman and Mr and Mrs G N Skoglund and sons.

Obituary:

Mrs Emma Idéen,83, Raymond community resident for 70 years died Thursday at a Lincoln hospital.

Mrs Idéen was the widow of John Edward Idéen and came to the United States from Sweden, her birthplace. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Survivors include seven sons: Albin, Arvid and Ray from Casper in Wyoming, Elmer from Salem in Oregon, Earl, David, Henry from Raymond and Lee from Lincoln.

Four daughters Mrs Merle Jones (from Allen), Mrs George Nelson and Mrs Emily Yanko from Santa Cruz in California, Mrs George Cole from San Fransisco, Calif, two sisters Mrs Hilma Nelson, from Ceresco, Mrs Alma Speicher, Tilden and a brother Arthur Anderson from Selah in Washington. 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Services will be held Sunday at 2 pm in Raymond Presbyterian chruch with Rev JJ Sheaff and Rev Lynn Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Malcolm.
