About Enguerrand de Preaux
John, Peter, William, and Enguerrand were part of the Angevin royal household from a very early age.
Little is known about Enguerrand except that, like his brothers Peter and William (and unlike his oldest brother Jean/John and probably Simon and Roger), he remained in England after the loss of Normandy. He appears to have had a son of the same name who was using a seal with an eagle passant to sinister displayed as of the year 1247.
