About Enoch Flowers

Enoch Flowers is a great-great-grandfather of President Abraham Lincoln. His daughter Rebecca, widow of James Morris, married "Virginia" John Lincoln. Their son Abraham was great-grandfather of the President.

Enoch was born about 1693, reportedly in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He was a Justice of the Peace. Historian and author John Hill Martin asserted that Enoch married Rebecca Barnard, daughter of Richard Barnard, in 1713. In that account, the surname is written "Flower" (without an "s"). Martin also mention's Enoch's daughter Rebecca having married "a Lincoln".
