OBITUARY
MRS. C. KRAFT
Mrs C. Kraft, 68, of Vine Vale, who died suddenly on Aug. 14, was Ernestine Louise Emma, eldest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs A. Pech, and was born at Vine Vale on May 15, 1878. When 12 she was bereft of her father in an accident. She was a lifelong member of Bethany Church, where she was baptized, confirmed and married by the late Rev. G. A. Heidenreich; her marriage with Mr Carl Kraft being on July 6, 1897.
She was widely esteemed. Left with Mr Kraft are 8 sons and 5 daughters: Herb, Dorrien; Edmund, Vine Vale; Vic., Woodside; Alwin, Vine Vale; Frank, Nuriootpa; Ben, of Stockwell; Hugo, Mt. Torrens; Wal of Berri; Mrs V. Johns, Cambrai; Mrs H. R. H. Schulz, Angaston; Mrs A. Bartsch, Berri; Mrs Pfeiffer, Dorrien; and Rita, Vine Vale. Messrs Harry and Will Pech, Vine Vale, are brothers; and Mesdames J. and R. Schiller (Brownlow), A. Obst (Hampden) are sisters. Rev. Roehrs ministered at the funeral at Bethany on Friday, bearers being Messrs R. Neldner, W. Pech, A. Schaeche, W. Ahrens, B. Garrett and W. Zander.
