A celebration of Estelleen O. Miller’s life, age 92 of Jasper, will be at 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Jasper with burial to follow at Toledo Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home.

Estelleen died March 19, at Pinecrest Retirement Center in Lufkin, Texas. A native of Toledo Bend, and longtime resident of Jasper, she was a member of First United Methodist Church in Jasper. She loved playing golf and bridge. She was the past president of the Women’s Golf Association of Tennwood in Hockley, Texas. She was active in her church work and a member of Seeker Sunday School class.

Estelleen is survived by three sons, Travis Miller & wife Mary of Fort Worth, Texas, Clinton Everette Miller Jr of Blanket, Texas, and Laurence Lee Miller & wife Debbie of Lufkin, Texas; two daughters, Rebecca Lynn Miller of Keene, Texas, and Christa Ellen (Miller) Simpson & husband Rick of East Benard, Texas; a brother, R.L. Odom & wife Betty of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Tamera Miller, Christianne Miller, James Miller, Jennifer Miller, and Ricky Simpson and one great-grandchild, Andrew Withrow.

Estelleen was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Clinton E. Miller Sr; her parents Richard and Estelle Odom, two brothers, Edward and Travis Odom, and five sisters, Christine Odom, Pecanice Gibson, Theo Ryall, Willie Ruth Fulkerson, and Laura McWhorter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Jasper, Texas.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
