Esther Vera Casebier

Vera Esther Rossell lived in Nebraska during her youth. Her mother passed away when she was in her teens and she helped raise her brother thereafter . I learned from her that her father was not eager to support her relationship with Amos Casebier for one reason or another. He basically said "you marry him and I wont forgive you for the rest of my life". I think that was just the case. I never got a sense that the the Old man ever paid much attention to his grandchildren. My father was his oldest grandchild. Grandma was always known to us grand kids as big grandma (because she was to us) ,versus little grandma who was Katie, my mothers mother. Esther he was a quiet lady. She very much enjoyed her SDA church affiliation.
