Esther Yolles

In "The Unbroken Chain" her given name was not supplied, however, archival sources (attached by PYM) confirm that her name was Esther.

According to the latest edition of "The Unbroken Chain", she was born a Stern, daughter of G9.6 Sarah Lowenstam and R. Issachar Ber Stern of Nowy Yarychov. Her entry reads as follows:

G10.2 Wife of R. Yekutiel Abba Yolles of Lvov, son of R. Joseph Isaac Yolles, known as Itzikel of Lvov, son of Joel Yolles Bressler of Lvov. Yekutiel's mother was the daughter of R. Eliezer Lipman, called Der Grosser Rebbi Lipele, ABD Strelisk.

She was the mother of Rosa Knebel, and R. Issachar Yolles.

These are the entries for her two children:

G11.1 Rosa, married R. Eliezer Lipman Knebel, born in Jaroslaw in 1811 and died in Rozhnyatov on June 12, 1876, son of R. Judah Leibish Knebel of Jaroslaw. After his marriage, he first lived in Lvov, later in Jaroslaw, Brzozowiec (Brizdowitz) and finally in Rozhnyatov. Lipman apparently married, as his first wife, Rebecca Temeril, daughter of Mordecai Halpern of Brody, having issue, a son Shevach Knebel.

G11.2 R. Issachar Yolles, born about 1790 and died about 1860, married Frumet. He was ABD Radechev and Nizniow, south east of Lvov.
