Obituary from The South Bend Tribute, South Bend, Indiana, August 7, 1979, Page 30: Mrs. Oren B. (Ethel) Eubank, 96, of 55345 Fir Road, Mishawaka, died at 10:15 a.m. Monday at home following an extended illness. She was born on January 20. 1883, in South Whitley, Indiana, and lived most of her life in the South Bend area. As Ethel Sickfoose she married Oren B. Eubank on July 17, 1910, in South Whitley. He survives along with a son, Robert O. of Mishawaka, and two grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home 336 N. Main, with Rev. Christian Bender, pastor of the South Wayne Community Church, Dowagiac, officiating. There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. (CST) at the South Wayne Community Cemetery, Dowagiac. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Eubank was a member of the church; the Schuyler Rebekah Lodge 39, South Bend, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Patriarch Militant 9, of which she was a past state president.
