Eugene Gilmore was born on February 27, 1920 in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States. His mother was Gertrude Gilmore. He was a Paratrooper (US Army).

Eugene married Dorothy Gilmore (Landis). Together they had the following children: Jack Gilmore.

He died on February 25, 1984 in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States and was buried in Forest Hills Memorial Park Reiffton Berks County Pennsylvania.

EUGENE S.GILMORE, 63, died on Saturday afternoon in his home at 226 Wunder St. He was the husband of Dorothy M. (Landis) Gilmore. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late George and Gertrude A. (Stuart) Gilmore. He had been employed as a color mixer for 43 years by Paper, Tucker- ton. a division of the Corp., before retiring in 1981. Gilmore was an Army veteran of World War ll. In addition to his widow, he is survived by a son, Jack S. of Reading, and a grandchild. Three brothers: Ralph. Charles and Thomas, all of Reading. Also three sisters: Ruth, wife of Olinto Zorro, New York City, Jane, wife of John Nutter, Cincinnati. Ohio, and Patricia Gilmore, Reading. Theo C. Auman Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
