- Eunice Pound,13 a daughter of John and Sarah (Martin) Pound, was born in Middlesex County, New Jersey; about 1765, died about 1815, and is buried at Elk Creek, Kentucky. She went with her parents to Maryland and moved from there to Nelson County, Kentucky, in April, 1786, and to Shelby County, now Spencer County, near Elk Creek, in 1795, where she resided until her death. She was married about 1784 to William Kester son of William and Elizabeth (Lacock) Kester, who was born about 1765 and died about 1815, only a few days from the time of the death of his wife. They had eleven children.

Eunice Pound, a daughter of John and Sarah (Martin) Pound (see page 11), was born in Middlesex County, New Jersey, about 1765, died about 1815,and is buried in Elk Creek, Kentucky. She went with her parents to Maryland and moved from there to Nelson County, Kentucky, in April 1786 (see account of trip, Appendix III), and to Shelby County, now Spencer County, near Elk Creek, in 1795, where she resided until her death. She was married about 1784, to William Kester Jr, son of William and Elizabeth (Lacock) Kester, who was born about 1765, and died about 1815, only a few days from the time of the death of his wife.
