LYNN-Eunice F. (McGray) LaBossiere, 84, of Lynn, passed away Friday April 24, 2009. She was the wife of the late Al LaBossiere, with whom she had shared 61 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2004. Born in Lynn and a lifelong resident,

Eunice was the daughter of the late Clyde and Estelle (Brady) [this should read Braley per Karen Tomecek] McGray. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed BINGO and was a member of the Franco-American Womans Auxiliary.

Eunice is survived by her children, Gail and her husband Michael Gauvain of Lynn, Marie Poole of Stratham, NH and Gary LaBossiere of Lynn, a sister Blanche deSteuben of Weare, NH, a brother Clyde Berry of Keysport, IL, three beloved grandchildren, Mark Gauvain of Chelmsford, Matthew Poole of Bradford and Justine Gauvain of Lynn, six great grandchildren, Samuel, Charles and Elizabeth Gauvain all of Chelmsford, Ryan, Rebecca and Jason Poole, all of Bradford, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Grace Gallant and Shirley Erickson.

Service Information: A funeral service will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home 128 Washington St., Lynn on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Visitation is Tuesday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers 01923.
