OBITUARY:

EAU CLAIRE - Mrs. George P. (Evelyn P.) Bailey, 74, of Bailey Road, Eau Claire, died around 7:30 p.m. Monday at her home. The body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, Sodus, of which she was a member. Memorials may be made to the church or the Berrien County Cancer Service. Bowerman Funeral Home, Eau Claire, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bailey was born July 2, 1914, in Oswego County, N.Y. Prior to retiring, she had been employed by Simplicity Pattern Co., Niles, for 32 years.

In addition to her husband, survivors include: a son, Kevin P. of Eau Claire; a daughter, Dianne Bailey Alton of Ann Arbor; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters - Mrs. Clarence (Eleanor) Haslanger and Mrs. George (Dorothy) Jones, both of Niles.
