From Rubinstein's My Many Years, Part One Ch. 27: "My poor mother had died of cancer and my father who had never seen ill, survived her by only two months. He had died from pneumonia, which seemed to be only a pretext. He simply couldn't survive the death of his wife after fifty-two years of marriage." His parents married in Lodz in 1870 (akt.19) so they must have died in 1922.
