About Felix Frederick Pauli
Worked in chemistry. Loved the Alps and had to escape the Nazis in 1938 through the swiss border. He was captured by a swiss policeman, but could travel further to Zurich after calling Oskar Pascheles who guaranteed for him. Worked in chemical export sales. Had a very strong moral sense. In 1940 - he was working at a metal company and lodged with Janet and Leo Levinson on Wadsworth Avenue having arrived from Austria (1940 census).
