Mrs. John L. Sanford

 Mrs. Florence I. Sanford, 71, of Arkville died Saturday, July 27, 1968, at Margaretville Hospital following a long illness.

 Funeral services were Monday at 2 in New Kingston United Presbyterian church, Rev. William H. Harter, pastor of the church, officiating.  Burial was in New Kingston cemetery.

 Mrs. Sanford was born in Margaretville April 13, 1897, a daughter of Ira and Nora (Falkner) Sanford.  She was married to John L. Sanford April 22, 1916, at Margaretville.

 She was a lifetime resident of the town of Middletown, a member of Wawaka Grange, Halcottsville.

 Surviving are her husband; a son, Earl of Margaretville; a daughter, Mrs. Everett Platt of Margaretville; a sister, Mrs. Ina Kelly of Margaretville.

 Funeral arrangements were by Miller Funeral Home, Roxbury.
