Frances B. White was born 11/10/1839 in Johnson Co., MO and died of consumption 4/1/1876 in Snelling, Merced Co., CA. She married first Charles F. Bludworth in her uncle Charles' home in Snelling on 1/18/1857. The wedding made the social pages of the local newspapers.
Charles was the son of Alfred and Mary Davidson Bludworth. He was born in Louisiana in March 1830 and died 12/7/1869 in Merced Co., CA. Frances and Charles had three children.
Frances, also known as Fannie married second William N. Neill on 6/19/1875 in the El Capitan Hotel, Merced, CA. At one time he had been the wealthiest stock-raiser in the area. William was born in Alabama in 1815 and died in Hopeton, Merced Co., CA on 8/20/1879.
