About Frances Douglas - Craft

Accurate research shows that Frances is the daughter of Peter Carroll/McCardle and Mary Row (born in the Colony). This Peter Carroll is not to be confused with a Peter Carroll who was also living in Windsor at the same time. Frances married James Douglas in 1832 in Sydney. Frances had her first child with Joseph Craft in 1836 and married Joseph in 1840. James Douglas had died in 1837. Frances parents are interesting. It has long been thought that John Rowe and Isabella Manson had a daughter Mary and Frances mother Mary Rowe is the correct age to be that child.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Nov 8 2022, 7:16:49 UTC
