Catskill Recorder, Feb. 4, 1818, Coxsackie, NY At Coxsackie on the 1st inst. Mrs. Frances Kirtland, wife of Dorrance Kirtland, Esq. The death of this estimable woman is an irreparable loss to all those who were united by an endearing relationship or intimacy. She was a crown to her husband__a blessing to her children, exemplary and amiable in her character____frank and generous qualities. She was a modest and humble follower of her Divine Saviour. She supported the anguish of a long illness with composure and resignation and looked forward with transport to the hour when she should slumber in the grave and her soul awoke to joys eternal in the kingdom of God.
