I was born on the 9 Oct 1856 the son of Jacob Baldwin and Abigail Briggs, his wife, and grandson of Elisha Baldwin Jr and Jemima Ryder, born Mar. 10, 1788 died May 24, 1854 and great grand son of Rev. Joshua Ryder born April 12, 1764 died 4/26/1851 and Fanny Pugsley born 11/13/1766 died Jun 3, 1837, married Jan. 5, 1785 and great great grandson of William Pugsley born Sep 28, 1724 died Apr. 26, 1786 and Deborah Stevenson born Aug. 22, 1725 died Sep. 9, 1770 married Jan. 13, 1743.
