About Frances S. Baker-Kerr (Mobley)
CUBA, IL - Frances Sarah Kerr, 70, of 6471/2 E. Monroe died at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at her residence.
Born Nov. 20, 1930, in Paint Lick, Ky., to Joe P. and Ada Fanshier Mobley, she married Virgil Kerr on March 3, 1995, in Lewistown. He survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Donald (and Caroll) Baker of Beardstown, Leon (and Debbie) Baker of Cuba, Everett (and Nancy) Baker of Montrose, Iowa, Michael Baker of Lebanon, Mo., and Todd (and Michelle) Baker of Rantoul; one daughter, Mrs. Don (Judy) Griggs of Humboldt, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; and one brother, Joe (and Wilma) Mobley of Marietta.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Barbara Ann Baker; one brother; and two sisters.
She formerly worked as a cook at various area restaurants and as an assistant for Hands Across America.
Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery.
