Frances Mary Schatz

Frances Mary Schatz passed away peacefully at San Leandro Hospital on April 5, 2005. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward, California

Frances was born on June 14, 1923 in Linton, North Dakota.

Beloved wife of Andew G. Schatz, a marriage lasting 64 years. Devoted mother of Andrew C. Schatz of Maryland and Charlene Schatz of Oregon. Loving grandmother of David, Stacy, Jason, Kelly Schatz and Andrea Trout. Loving sister of Bill Schlosser of ND and Kittie Loken of CA.

Over the years Frances enjoyed traveling, visiting family and friends. She loved to dance and could keep up with the best. She will always be remembered by family and friends as a caring and loving person. She was known in the neighborhood as the "Kool-Aid Mom", providing pizza and drinks for all the children. She was a former resident of Alameda and always made her home welcome to service personnel from the Naval Air Station for a home away from home.
