BIOGRAPHY On 9 August 1783 at St.Marylebone, she married Archibald Montgomerie, 11th Earl of Eglintoun, and they became the parents of two daughters. However, in 1788 she was divorced by her husband, because of her adultery with the Duke of Hamilton with whom she appeared as 'The Candid Wife' and 'His Caledonian Grace', in the notorious portraits in 'Town and Country Magazine'. On 29 November 1794 she married Francis Moore, Deputy Secretary at War.
