About Francis Buchan, Hon.
Hon. Alastair Francis Buchan was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England. He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. He gained the rank of MAjor in the service of the 14th Canadian Hussars. He fought in the Second World War. He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.
