About Francis Eppes

Francis Eppes, VI was the son of Richard Eppes V and Martha Bolling. He married Elizabeth Wayles about 1769 in Charles City County. They lived at "The Forest," Charles City County, home of her father, John Wayles. Francis was elected to the Committee of Safety of that county on December 17, 1774. About 1780 they moved to Eppington. He represented Chesterfield County in the House of Delegates, 1771-82. He died in Sweet Springs, Virginia.
