The Irwin family, whose house was in the line of fire and was occupied by a bomb-thrower of the lrregulars, had some very providential escapes from death, the father's eyebrows being grazed by a bullet as he was lying in bed. The rest of the family saved themselves by lying prostrate on the floor.</line><line />
