Biography

Francis Wyman was born on 10 July 1691 in Woburn, Massachusetts. His parents were William Wyman and Prudence (Putnam) Wyman[1].

He emigrated as a young man to North Yarmouth, Maine, where he married Jane Pomeroy around 1726. They had eight children[2]:

1. Esther, born 3 Jul 1727; married William Boynton 2. Francis, born 8 Aug 1728; married Sarah Blethen 3. Peter, born 15 Nov 1729; died young 4. Jane, born 23 Oct 1732; married 1st Andrew Bennett, 2nd William Sweetser 5. Nathaniel, born 17 Sep 1734; married Martha Campbell 6. Peter, baptized 20 Jul 1738 7. Sarah, born 14 Jun 1739; married George Rogers 8. William, born 12 May 1741; lost off Cape Cod, 1767 Francis died on 7 June 1775 in North Yarmouth[2].
