Frank H. Hale

Frank came to Manila as a volunteer during the 1898 Spanish-American War. He eventually set up the Hale Shoe Company Inc. (located on Canonigo Street in Paco, Manila), which manufactured the well-known pre-ware ESCO brand of shoes; and Lyric Music House.
