Ferenc DERI was deputy mayor of Budapest from 1917 to 1920. He had already been a frequent the MANHEIM home for some years before the death of Josef in 1925, after which he married the widowed Minna. His stepson Erno had long liked him: “I knew him when I was a little boy. He was a very friendly man, with an attractive appearance and I enjoyed being in his company”
