And further: "1. Lewis Munch, head, white, male, b. Sep 1848, age 52, married 28 years, b. in Germany, both parents born in Germany, emmigrated in1880, in US 20 years, Naturalized, works as a curtain weaver, can read, write and speak english.

Came to the US on the ship Mosel, arriving on 15 May 1880: Louis Muench, age 30, male, Laborer, from Germany, to USA, Port of Embarkation is Bremen & Southampton, Manifest ID# 35667, boat name is Mosel, Dateof arrival is 15 May 1880. Included with manifest ID# 35667 are: Agnes Muench, age 28, female. Maria Muench, age 5, female. Otto Muench, age 3, male.
