H. Unrh, p. 328). He was listed at Rosenort #4 in 1815 at the time of the marriage of his stepdaughter Margaretha Matthies on 21 Oct 1815 per the 1815-1816 Molotschna Colony Vital Records. In the 1835 Molotschna Census entry for Rosenort #21, he is said to have moved to Russia in 1804 and to have left Rosenort in 1833. The 1835 Molotschna Census lists him at Blumenort #16. He is at end of Rosenort in the 1835 Census. It says in 1838 he went to Blumenort. He is listed with his stepsons Jacob, Abraham, Kornelius, and Franz Maties, sons of Jacob Maties.
