Freddie (52) went to fetch his workers, on Wednesday 17th December 2014, when he was led into a trap. His attackers had thrown a log in the road, and a group of about six men fired shots at his vehicle. He was shot in the torso and died. Freddie was found dead in his bakkie along the Brandwag / Hartenbos road.
