Frederick Barfoot Kerr

    Fred graduated from McDonough School in Baltimore and from Alfred University in Alfred , New York. He was  a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Army for two years.   He met his wife Anne at Ft. Benning while she was teaching school on the military post.   Fred and Anne moved to Rome , Ga where  he began his real estate career .   He was a Rotarian and donated much of his time to various local organizations.  He was a participant in Leadership GA and was honored with an alumni award in his name at the time of his death.   He was also an active member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church.     Fred was the proud father of Chris and Rebekah.
