HAMMAN 1892 Johannes Hamman. The Hamman, Hartman, Maritz and Briel families were already at Fort Victoria as early as 1892 but were delayed while scouts went to different areas to select farms. Their treks were restarted and completed in 1894. They settled along the Sebakwe river near Umvuma.
