1874: went to Golden CO, then to farming community of Edgewater CO (now suburb of Denver)

Struck by Golden Interrrupt Car at Brown's Station near West 44th avenue. Waiting to take car to Denver. Taking civil war sword sword to get new scabbard. Asked daughter Hallie to drive him, she said she would do it after finishing the wash. Left in a huff.
