Garrett M. Nice, son of David S. and Lizzie (Moyer) Nice, was born in Montgomery Co., PA, Oct. 15, 1905; died at Souderton Mennonite Homes, Souderton, PA, May 30, 1988; aged 82 y.
He was married to Mamie Derstein, who survived. Also surviving were 3 daughters (Pauline Price, Linda Derstine, and Blanche Nyce), 4 sons (Floyd D., Garrett D., Jr., Ralph D., and John D.), 29 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of Souderton Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on June 2, 1988; interment in Souderton Mennonite Church Cemetery.
