Gary Baron Carney

My Uncle Gary told my sister Donna a story about himself. It seems when he was a young man still in High School, he was known in the family as teh "Stork Watcher".

As the story goes, at this time the other kids in the family, all being older, were married and several of the his sisters were from time to time expecting babies.

Since most of the "dads-to-be" worked shift work, they were out of the house and away from their expectant wives during the evening hours and this worried Grandma Carney.

Since Uncle Gary was single and availble, Grandma Carney would send him to "sit" with whichever married sister was closest to her due date at that time...thus the moniker, Stork Watcher.
