Staunton Spectator - April 10, 1866 ADMINISTRATOR'S SALE - As Administrator of George Arey deceased, I will proceed to rent the two farms belonging to the estate of the deceased, on Tuesday, the 17th day of April, 1866. The home farm contains 167 acres and is situated on Long Glade, 1 1/2 miles east of Farrow's Iron Works. The other contains 118 acres, and is situated about 1 mile south of Centerville, Augusta county. At the same time and place, I will sell, to the highest bidder, all the personal property belonging to the estate, consisting of 3 head of work horses, one two year old colt, 4 milk cows, 1 fine bull, some young cattle, sheep, hogs, 1 road wagon, 1 plantation wagon gearing, plows, harrows, and all necessary farming utensils. Also all the household and kitchen furniture, and a lot of hay and the crop of grain in the ground. Terms made known one day sale.
