     G. W. Bible to W. B. Jones

     Know all men by these presents that I, G. W. Bible of thecounty and state aforesaid, for and in consideration of the sumof one hundred and fifty dollars in hand paid by W. B. Jonesthe receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained, sold,and conveyed unto the said W. B. Jones of the county and stateabove named, our two acre lot in the town of Clifton in BosqueCounty known as block No 5 to have and to hold with all andsingular the rights and appurtenances thereunto belonging and tofurther bind myself, my heirs, etc. to forever warrant, defendthe title t said lot unto the said W. B. Jones, his heirs, etc.against the claims of all persons whosoever claiming or to claimthe same.

     In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the17th day of Oct AD 1869.

     Before the undersigned authority personally appeared G. W. Bibleto me personally well-known, who acknowledged that he executedand delivered the within instrument of conveyance as his bindingact and deed for the purpose and considerations therein statedand at length set forth.

     Know all men by these presents that whereas at the January term1881 of the

     County Court for maters of probate in and for the County ofBosque and state of TX, George W. Bible, guardian of the estateof Georgia Ann Bible, now Georgia Ann Parks, John M.(N?) Bibleand Wm. P. Bible, obtained an order of said Court for the saleof twenty six acres of land out of the W. H. King survey nearthe town of Clifton in said County of Bosque and the saidguardian having reported to this court that he had contracted tosell said twenty six acres of land to Carl Questad for the sumof four hundred and fifty Dollars cash and the court havingapproved said report of sale by an order duly entered on theminutes of said Court as follows to wit:

     County court for matters of probate of Bosque Co. Jan term 1881.Be it remembered that on this the 22 day of Jan 1881 This causecome on to by hand the release of sale of twenty six acres ofland pursuant to an order of this honorable court made at thispresent term authorizing and directing the aforesaid guardian,G. W. Bible, to sell at private or public sale, the 26 acres ofland belonging to the estate of said heirs to wit: Georgia AnnBible, now Georgia Ann Parks, J. M. Bible and Wm. T. Bible. Thesame being 26 acres of land out of the northwest corner of theW. M. King survey and the same that was willed by Samuel S.Locker, dec'd, to his daughter Mary Jane Bible and the saidguardian G. W. Bible having reported to this court the sale ofthe aforesaid 26 acres of land to Carl Trustad for the sum of450 dollars cash, and the court being satisfied that sale wasfairly made and that the property was sold for a fair price, oris there fore ordered and judged and decreed by the court thatsaid sale be approve and confirmed. That said report of sale berecorded and that guardian G. W. Bible make title to CarlQuestad, purchaser when he shall have complied with the terms ofsaid sale. Now therefore {L. N. }Bible of the county of Hilland state of TX by virtue of the authority vested in me asguardian of the person and estate of Georgia Ann Bible, nowGeorgia Ann Parks, John H., and Wm. T. Bible have or may have orclaim in and to 26 acres of land out of the Nor west corner ofthe W. H. King survey near the town of Clifton in said county ofBosque, it being the same willed by Samuel Locker to Mary JaneBible, now deceased and pursuant to the aforesaid order of courthave this day for and in consideration of the sum of fourhundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid the receipt ofwhich is hereby acknowledged, bargained, sold, released andconveyed and by these presents do bargain, sell, release andconvey unto Carl Questad of the state, etc., etc.
