About George Frangoudis
First cousin, from his father's side, of Menelaos and Nicholas Frangoudis and Simos Menardos. Born in Limassol and studied law at Athens University (1890). Later tudied further at the School of Politics & Business in Paris and then in London to learn English. Advocate in Athens where he founded the "Patriotikon Sinthesmon Kyprion" (1898). Journalist, writer. In Athens he edited the political newspaper "Metarrithmisis" (1904-1905, 1921-1923) and in Limassol the first daily newspaper, "Fos" (26 April 1920 - 6 May 1920). He later practiced law in Alexandria (1905-1910) and then in Khartoum (1911-1916), after which he returned to Athens where he was elected to Parliament (1923). Founder and President of "Ekpetheftiki Anagenisis" (1924). Founder of "Panteiou Senior School of Political Studies" (1930). Teacher and first Head of the school (1930-1937).
