Obituary:
GEORGE B. HINRICHS , prominent and respected resident of Hopkins Twp. passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Eilers, Sunday morning at 4 o'clock as the result of a sudden heart attack. Services will be Tuesday in Trouth Fneral home, burial in Hopkins cemetery. The deceased was born in Hopkins Twp. Dec. 30, 1861 anf farmed at this birthplace for 31 years. After his retirement in 1915 he moved to Sterling where he lived for 10 years. Three years ago he moved to his daughters home. On Feb. 21, 1884 he was married to Elise Darjus wo preceded him in death July 2, 1914. To this union wer born seven children, five of whom survive. Mrs. John Eilers, Hlpkins, Edward of Dixon; Elmer of Coleta; Clarence of Morrison and Arthur of Indianapolis IN. One sister Mrs Gerhart Cassens of Sterling, along with 12 grandchildren. Two sisters Mrs. Anna Onken of Hopkins and Mrs. G.F. Owens of Sterling and one brother Henry preceded him in death. One daughter Alice and one son Carl passed on in 1903 and 1932 respectively.
