James Harold Kershaw (Grandson)

George was a hermit and a poorly for my early life.
He would get sick and Dad would bring him home till he got better. (He may have been an alcoholic?) He always wanted to go back to his slab hut. It was his first "Real House" and he loved it!

I remember whn he died. He had been in Quirindi hospital, and was quite old and sick.
The hospital rang dad and told him George was dieing, so dad took me to see him. I had never known him much as he was a hermit, and didn't communicate much.
We went to the hospital to see him, but when we arrived the nurses told dad that he had just died.
Dad closed his eyes! I remember thinking he looked so peacful.

I don't rememeber the funeral.
