on 12 June 1646, and on the same date he also expede a general service as heir-male of his brother-german Alexander, Master of Spynie. On 8 November 1666 he was served as nearest and lawful heir-male of David, twelfth Earl of Crawford. On the death of Ludovic, sixteenth Earl of
Crawford, Lord Spynie became the head of the family of Lindsay. [2] ◦KINSHIP: 2nd son and heir.

ASSIGNMENTS: Served on a committee for regulating the Army.
