Georgia Nora Lowe (Prince) (Perdue)

Georgia Perdue Prince Lowe, 85, of Robbinsville, NC, went home to be with the Lord, on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Graham Healthcare and Rehab. She was born in Clay County, TN, and was the daughter of the late Clark and Ethel Rich Perdue. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Gid T. Prince; her husband, Lanzo Lowe; her grandson, Clay Gladden; her son in law, Steve Stratton; her brother, Arnie Perdue; and her sisters, Irene Boone and Ruby Arms. Georgia was of the Baptist faith. Her hobbies were working with flowers and collecting salt and pepper shakers. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Gregg and Robyn Prince of Robbinsville, NC; her daughters and sons in law, Gail and Alfred Wiggins, Gaye Prince, Gina Stratton, and Gidget and Al Jones, all of Robbinsville, NC; her brother, Cotton Perdue of Tompkinsville, KY; and her sister, Alice Poindexter of Celina, TN. Her grandchildren are Michael Wiggins, Jennifer Gladden Cody, Sara Stratton Harkins, Erika Prince Turpin, Lynn Prince, Dren Jones, and Fallon Jones Menard. She has 12 great grandchildren, Emma and Isaac Wiggins, Kelby and Carley Cody, Brookelyn, Breeley, and Carson Turpin, Liam Prince, Taylor, Evan and Canon Menard, and Brody Jones. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Monday, May 27, 2013 at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverends Wayne McGuire, Max Turpin, and David Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Monday at the Chapel, prior to the service. Committal services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Upper Yellow Creek Cemetery.
